Strait is an island of Andaman Island belongs to the North and Middle Andaman administrative district, part of the Indian union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.Strait Island is a small island located 6 km east of Baratang Island, Great Andaman, in the Diligent Strait, which separates Great Andaman from Ritchie's Archipelago. The island lies 63 km north from Port Blair. The unmanned lighthouse at the top of the tallest hill on the island was established 1985. 12-meter GI trestle Tower Painted black and White bands color scheme and has a LED flasher light powered by battery and solar panel. Accessibility to this lighthouse is only by sea route, commute by departmental vessel or any chartered vessel upto anchorage Point then use mechanised dinghy up to shore then walk to reach the lighthouse
