Anjengo Lighthouse

Anjengo Lighthouse is commissioned on 30 th April, 1988. Its position is Lat 08° 40.4’N, Long 7° 48.5’E. Light house is about 6 km by road from Kadakkavur railway station on Ernakulum-Trivandrum route and is about 8 km from Attingal on NH-47.Anjengo (Anjuthengu as pronounced locally) is a fishing village.The nearest Police station Anjengo 2.5 Km and 4Km coastal police station muthalapozhi from Lighthouse.Fishing harbour 04 Km from Lighthouse. Near by airport is Thiruvananthapuram international airport 35 Km from Lighthouse. Primary health centre one aided school up to higher secondary and un aided high school are situated.
