KADAPAKKAM LIGHTHOUSE

Kadapakkam lighthouse was established by Government of India in the year of 2013, Kadapakkam is a coastal village in the Cheyyur Taluk of Chengalpattu district, Tamil Nadu, India. The popular town Kalpakkam is located about 35 km from Kadapakkam lighthouse.

Kadapakkam Lighthouse is located 50 km distance from Pondicherry Main City and 120 km from Chennai Main City. State government bus services available from Pondicherry and Chennai to Kadapakkam ECR in every hour. Kadapakkam lighthouse is located about 3.5 km away from the Kadapakkam ECR bus stand in East side.

The Alamparai Fort heritage site is situated near the lighthouse. The Alamparai fort was built by the last Mughal ruler Nawab Doste Ali Khan in 1760 AD.
